At iTS Leadership, we offer three approaches to enable your organisation to benefit from the power of AAR. We provide a professional AAR facilitation service, a comprehensive package to train your own AAR Conductors and our expert guidance to help you to embed this highly effective approach into your business culture.
Our aim is to help you build a strong foundation, develop expertise and become masters of the iTS AAR for long term success.
The iTS AAR Facilitation Service
This service brings the benefits of independent facilitation and expertise in After Action Review (AAR) to ensure your teams can learn easily and effectively from any recent experience.
Our expert iTS AAR Conductors will lead AARs remotely or in person, and help your teams extract maximum learning from recent projects, pressing issues or challenging events.
You will benefit from our thorough preparation and scoping of the AAR, a full summary report of the lessons learnt as well as the skill of our iTS AAR Conductors in creating psychological safety for open & honest conversations.

The iTS AAR Conductor Development Programme
We know the success of every After Action Review rests on the knowledge, skills and confidence of the individuals who conduct the iTS AAR process and our tried and tested development pathway will ensure your organisation is able to build capability at the pace that works for you.
The iTS AAR Conductor Development Programme (CDP) teaches people to facilitate the iTS AAR process with the specific objective of capturing learning and planning change. The highly interactive programme blends theory with practice, can be delivered online or in person and ensures participants leave the workshops with the practical knowledge and skills they need to lead successful AARs. The CDP consistently achieves exceptional satisfaction scores. 100% of a group of 64 people who participated in the CDP from one business in 2021, agreed with the statement “I will recommend this training course to others”, 60% of them strongly.
Access to a comprehensive range of materials to support them during and after training is included via the Members Area of the iTS AAR Website.
Creating the conditions for long-term success
Achieving that shift to a true continuous improvement culture needs leaders who understand the iTS AAR approach and the communication and organisational infrastructure to support it effectively. We bring the wisdom we have gathered from experience of success and failure elsewhere to help you create the strong foundation needed to be able to realise all the benefits of the successful integration of the iTS AAR approach into your organisation.
This might include support with communication planning and the creation of bespoke content, workshops to “warm up” the wider organisation and expert guidance for the leadership team.
We are delighted that our acclaimed iTS AAR Conductor Development Day has recently achieved accredited CPD Status with the CPD Standards Office. This means participants can be assured that the education experience is of the highest standard and will receive CPD points for attending.
