Creating the conditions for success

Achieving that shift to a true continuous improvement culture needs leaders who understand the iTS AAR approach and the communication and organisational infrastructure to support it effectively.  We bring the wisdom we have gathered from experience of success and failure elsewhere and help you create a strong foundation to take the essential steps needed for the successful integration of the iTS AAR approach into your organisation.

It is vital to introduce the concept of After Action Review to the rest of the organisation so all know how to participate fully and know when to call an iTS AAR. Our iTS AAR Lite workshop does just this and we can either deliver this for you or train your iTS AAR Conductors to deliver it themselves.

Developing the iTS AAR Conductors

We know the success of every After Action Review rests on the knowledge, skills and confidence of the individuals who conduct the iTS AAR process and our tried and tested stepped development pathway will ensure each organisation is able to build capability at the pace that works for them.

The term “iTS AAR Conductor” describes the people who facilitate AARs as they are like an orchestral conductor, who doesn’t make the music and instead ensures all of the musicians make music together. The iTS AAR Conductor Development Day teaches people to facilitate the iTS AAR process with the specific objective of capturing learning and planning change.

Once the foundation level of iTS AAR is underway, we will provide ongoing professional support to develop the growing knowledge and skills and take people through to Expert and Master iTS AAR Conductor Levels. The end goal is that you are able to train your own cohorts of iTS AAR Conductors and achieve the significant benefits from the sustained shift in culture that results from full integration.
